Pasewalk / Neubrandenburg (dpa / mv) - In Pasewalk (Vorpommern-Greifswald district), according to witness statements, a 70-year-old shot from the balcony of a house at a playground on Sunday afternoon.
The police then seized an air rifle and ammunition in his apartment and filed a complaint for violating the gun law.
According to his own account, the man had shot pigeons in the air, as the police headquarters in Neubrandenburg announced.
Nobody was in the children's playground at the time of the shooting.
The criminal investigation department is now investigating the case.
