  • 'Púnica Case' The judge does not believe Luis Bárcenas and files the case for the builder who denied having delivered black money to Esperanza Aguirre

Former PP treasurer Luis Bárcenas is already at liberty.

Whoever was responsible for the finances of the party led by Mariano Rajoy has left the Soto Del Real prison this morning to enjoy a first six-day prison leave of the first he says they have been granted by the Penitentiary Surveillance judge.

Barcenas, who is already in his private home, had been in prison for two and a half years after being sentenced by the Supreme Court to 29 years for his participation in the 'First Epoch' of the Gürtel plot.

The former 'popular' treasurer, whom his son Guillermo was waiting for when he left the prison, has obtained his first permit after unanimously approved by the Soto Del Real Treatment Board, whose opinion was opposed by the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, considering " premature "the release of the former high office of the PP.

Bárcenas had the possibility of exhausting his first coup permit or dividing it into two outings, opting for the latter option.

The also former senator of the PP recently decided to apologize publicly for the crimes committed and announced his decision to collaborate with Justice in all the investigations in which it is required.

At the moment, he has proceeded to detail the distribution of black bonuses in the PP for decades and has accused the former president of the Community of Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre, of collecting a donation of 60,000 euros in black, an episode to which he has not given credibility the judge Manuel García Castellón, who instructs the 'Punic Operation.

Likewise, Bárcenas has recognized for the first time that he recorded Rajoy and other prominent members of the PP, such as Javier Arenas, but assures that he cannot contribute those tapes because they were stolen from him by the Police in the so-called 'Operation Kitchen'.

Therefore, for the moment, his testimony has not been accompanied by any recording or any document that endorses or reinforces his statements.
