Kuraev added that he was given time to return "to the path of the Church, which was chosen by him in his time."
Earlier, Patriarch Kirill approved the deprivation of Protodeacon Andrei Kuraev from the dignity, but introduced a moratorium on the issuance of a corresponding decree on the time it would take for Kuraev to revise his views.
