Pyramids goalkeeper Cherif Ikrami made a huge mistake and scored by mistake, losing 2-0 to Morocco's Raja Casablanca in the Confederation of African Football Cup today, Sunday.

Raja received a big boost as he recently suffered from an administrative and financial crisis, but he won his third consecutive victory to lead Group D with 9 points, 3 points ahead of his rival Pyramids, the runner-up last season.

Although Pyramids were close to scoring through Ramadan Subhi 10 minutes after the start, Raja took advantage of two consecutive mistakes to win.

Abdul Ilah Madkour, the Raja player, hit a weak ball, which was on its way out of the goal, but Ikrami fell to the ground and tried to catch it, but it collided with him and entered his goal strangely in the 15th minute.

Six minutes later, Pyramids defender Ali Gabr made a mistake in dispersing the ball to reach captain Mohsen Metwally, passing to the striker Ben Malango and firing a powerful shot from close range into the goalkeeper Ikrami.

Pyramids pressed in the second half and involved the return from injury Abdullah Al-Saeed and created several chances, but the result did not change, although Malango put the ball header into the net near the end, and the referee canceled the goal for offside.

Zambian Nkana is third with 3 points, after the 0-0 win over bottom-of-the-table Namungo of Tanzania.

Tunisian summit

A goalless draw settled the Tunisian summit between ES Sahel and their rivals Sfaxien in the third round of Group C at Rades Stadium.

Sfaxien maintained its position at the top with 5 points, one point ahead of ES Sahel and Senegalese Graf, who won 2-0 over Salitas, a representative of Burkina Faso.

Earlier in the day, Algeria's ES Setif remained without any victory for the third match in a row, after losing 2-1 to Nigerian hospitality Enyimba in the Group A competitions.
