Dresden (dpa / mv) - Hansa Rostock has missed the leap to the top of the table in the 3rd soccer league.

The team of coach Jens Härtel came on Easter Sunday at Liga Primus Dynamo Dresden but at least a 0-0 and remains second in the table.

With 58 points, Hansa is one point behind Dynamo and now one ahead of FC Ingolstadt, who lost 2-0 at 1. FC Magdeburg on Saturday.

In a first half that was poor in highlights, the reformed Rostock defense, in which the recently suspended Nico Neidhart and the recovered Julian Riedel had returned to the starting line-up, was quite safe.

Goalkeeper Markus Kolke only had to seriously intervene once in the 40th minute when he had to parry a 16-meter shot from Dresden midfielder Yannick Stark.

Kolke's opposite, Kevin Broll, had even less to do.

Only with a header from Hansa's central defender Damian Roßbach that was far too unplaced after a free kick by Bentley Baxter Bahn (21st) was there a hint of danger from the empty Harbig Stadium due to the corona.

Hansa's strong start after the restart, when Bahn narrowly missed the lead against the brilliantly reacting Broll (49th), gave hope for better football fare.

But in vain.

There was almost nothing going on in the prison rooms.

Both offensive divisions found no means to embarrass the opposing defenses.

So the division of points was okay in the end.
