He calls on Emmanuel Macron to thwart a parliamentary obstruction.

While the National Assembly is due to adopt a law on Thursday establishing a "right to a free and chosen end of life", several deputies have tabled some 3,000 amendments against this proposal.

A maneuver which should prevent its adoption, since parliamentarians can only discuss this text for one day.

Guest of Europe Evening weekend, Jean-Luc Romero-Michel, president of the Association for the right to die with dignity (ADMD), therefore calls on Emmanuel Macron to take his responsibilities "in the face of these extremists".

"Emmanuel Macron can decide that this text be discussed again," says the president of ADMD.

"He has the power to do it and he has to face up to his responsibilities."
