Most of the Arab countries, including the Gulf states, the Maghreb, Egypt, Sudan, Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine, and other countries, announced their support for Jordan, hours after the authorities there unveiled a plot that they said aimed to strike the country's stability.

In Libya, the Presidency Council expressed its solidarity and full support for and standing by the Kingdom of Jordan, stressing the strong and established ties between the two countries, and its full support for everything that guarantees the sovereignty of the Kingdom and preserves its security and stability.

Mauritania announced, through a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, its support for the brotherly Jordanian people under the leadership of King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, stressing that the stability of Jordan constitutes one of the most important guarantees for the stability of the region as a whole.

In the context of regional reactions, the Turkish Foreign Ministry described Jordan as an important country for peace in the Middle East region, stressing that the Kingdom's stability is inseparable from Turkey's stability and peace.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry expressed Ankara's support for King Abdullah II of Jordan and his government for the country's peace and prosperity.

For his part, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said that his country stresses the importance of stability and peace in Jordan, and its good relationship with Amman.

In the same context, the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government in northern Iraq, Masrour Barzani, in a letter sent to the King of Jordan expressed his full support for the last decisions in preserving the security and stability of his country.

For its part, the Palestinian Hamas movement expressed its solidarity with Jordan in the framework of the recent measures taken by King Abdullah II to preserve the security of his country.

A member of the Hamas political bureau, Izzat al-Rishq, said that Jordan has always stood with the Palestinian people and represented strategic depth for the Palestinian cause.

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, an official statement in which he said that Prince Hamzah bin Al-Hussein and Sharif Hassan bin Zaid planned with others to destabilize the country, stressing that the moves he had been planning for a long time had been controlled in coordination with foreign parties, he said.
