Facebook, which has 2.8 billion users worldwide, personal information of some users, has been leaked, the economic media Business Insider and Reuters reported.

A hacking online bulletin board reveals the personal information of 533 million Facebook users virtually for free.

This personal information includes the phone numbers of Facebook users in 106 countries around the world, their Facebook ID, name, place of residence, birthday, history, email address, and gender.

Israeli cybercrime intelligence firm Hudson Rock says the database appears to be the same as the Facebook phone numbers that have been circulating among hackers since January this year.

In a statement, Facebook said this data was "very old" and was related to a security vulnerability that it fixed in August 2019.

Personal information of 44 million Egyptian users, 32 million Americans, and 20 million French were leaked.

At the time, it was posted on this site that it sold personal information of over 121,000 Korean Facebook users.

The information company warned that even years-old data could be used in cybercrime by using leaked personal information to pretend to be someone else or steal login information.
