Bad Langensalza (dpa) - The handball players of the Thuringian HC rush from victory to victory in the Bundesliga.
On Saturday evening, the team of trainer Herbert Müller defeated TuS Metzingen in a duel with 32:28 (16:11) and moved past the opponent in fourth place with 35:15 points.
For the Thuringians, who had their best thrower in Marketa Jerabkova (nine goals), it was the fifth win in a row.
The THC started out nervously and initially had to chase a residue.
With a furious phase towards the end of the first round, however, the hosts achieved a comfortable half-time lead.
Metzingen did not open up and after the break came threateningly close to the THC twice (19:20 and 23:24).
The Thuringians withstood the pressure, increased the pace again in the final phase and ultimately even won safely.
