Mönchengladbach (AP) - SC Freiburg has to do without Vincenzo Grifo in the Bundesliga game at Borussia Mönchengladbach after a positive Corona test.

The Italian national team was found to have a low virus concentration in a test after returning from the international trip, announced the Breisgauer before the game on Saturday evening (8.30 p.m. / DAZN).

Grifo is in quarantine and has not started the trip to the away game.

For the people of Breisgau, it is the next corona case after Nils Petersen, who is back in the squad around two weeks after his diagnosis.

In Freiburg, Nicolas Höfler is also missing after the tenth yellow card.

Gladbach will compete without Nico Elvedi, who was canceled at short notice, as well as the suspended Ramy Bensebaini and Jonas Hofmann (positive Corona result).

For Elvedi, who suffered a calf injury in the final training session, Jordan Beyer has started for the second time this season.

Oscar Wendt will represent left-back Bensebaini in his 300th competitive game for Borussia, while Hannes Wolf will take over from Hofmann.
