- I would say that this is one of Sweden's best waves.

There are few waves in Sweden that meet this standard, says Tim Latte, a professional surfer who traveled from Stockholm alone to show his appreciation for the wave.

Just this day, the sun is shining from a clear sky and the weak wind barely makes a ripple on the water surface in Mölle harbor.

But that does not stop surfers from putting on their wetsuits and paddling in the cold water.

- It is a wonderful day to show everyone who lives in Mölle and the municipality that we are many who are here and surf.

It is difficult to show the surfing right today, but in a few days there will be waves here and then it will be full of surfers.

The municipal council tones down the conflict

SVT Nyheter Helsingborg has previously reported on the somewhat infected battle between the municipality and the surfers.

But on this day, both parties seemed to want to tone down the conflict.

- It is not funny that we have ended up here that manifestations are needed, says Peter Schölander (M), chairman of the municipal board in Höganäs who also appeared in Mölle.

- I think it's about us from the municipality being unclear.

Then, of course, there have been exaggerations from the other side as well.

"Everyone thrives together"

According to Peter Schölander, the municipality wants the surfer to remain.

- There is no other ambition on the part of the municipality than that the surfers should remain and that we should all enjoy themselves - bathers, visitors and surfers together
