Freiburg (dpa / lsw) - The education union GEW expects the Greens and CDU to have an education policy by 2026 that combats the consequences of the corona pandemic for children and young people.
The debt brake must be lifted for necessary investments in daycare centers, schools and universities, said Monika Stein, GEW state chairwoman on Saturday in Freiburg.

The new state government should not allow a corona generation to emerge, said Stein.
The education union also regards the poor performance of the CDU as a vote on education policy.
The Greens and the CDU in Baden-Württemberg came together on Saturday for their final exploratory discussion to set the course for a new green-black coalition.
