At lunchtime on Easter Eve, a police patrol on the E20 went towards Stockholm, when they noticed that a motorist was traveling at a very high speed in front of them.

The police patrol then tried to stop the man, but then he burned at an even higher speed and drove away from the police.

It was only at Härad that the motorist, a man in his 25s, stopped on the E20, and fled from his car on foot.

The police then decided to send a dog after him.

The dog stopped the perpetrator with several dog bites in his arms.

The man was then handcuffed.

Needed hospital care

The man is suspected of aggravated illegal driving, drug driving and drug offenses. He was taken to hospital, partly for sampling and partly for care of the dog bites.
