Aichelberg (dpa / lsw) - Two men were injured in an accident on Autobahn 8 near Aichelberg (Göppingen district).
As the police announced on Friday, a 45-year-old man drove his car almost unbraked into a truck in front.
When he recognized the truck in front of him, he wanted to avoid it, but hit the right side of the car against the truck.
The 60-year-old passenger was trapped and seriously injured in the accident on Thursday afternoon.
The fire brigade freed the man, the ambulance service took him to a hospital in a helicopter.
The driver was slightly injured, the truck driver was uninjured.
