The night before Tuesday 30 March, the 18-year-old woman leaves, according to information to the police, a friend's home in a residential area in Höör.

• The police will start a large search operation in Höör on Tuesday evening.

Late in the evening, the police publish a picture of the missing woman.

• On Wednesday, the searches continue and three places are blocked off, two in the community and one in a forest area on the outskirts of Höör.

A 25-year-old man from Höör is arrested at 1pm on Wednesday on probable cause on suspicion of murder.

According to police spokeswoman Ewa-Gun Westford, there is "some form of acquaintance" between the man and the missing woman.

The 18-year-old girl is found dead at 4pm on Wednesday.

It is in one of the three places that the police have blocked off. 

• The police seize a vehicle, which was parked in one of the cordoned off areas, and on Thursday morning move it to a place for further technical investigation. 

• On Thursday, the police will continue their investigative work in two cordoned-off areas.

Among other things in the hunt for evidence.

• On Thursday evening, the prosecutor's office announced that the 25-year-old suspect admits but denies the crime.

• By Saturday at the latest, the prosecutor must decide whether the suspect should be remanded in custody or not.
