“The doctors of the cardiac surgery clinic acted clearly and harmoniously, did everything to complete the open-heart surgery and save the patient despite the fire,” Murashko quoted TASS as saying.
He expressed gratitude to the doctors on behalf of the entire Ministry of Health of Russia.
Earlier it was reported that there was a fire in the clinic of cardiac surgery of the Amur State Medical Academy in Blagoveshchensk.
An operation was underway at the center at the time of the incident.
