Henan appoints three deputy governors Wang Kai as acting governors

　　On the same day, the 23rd meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th Henan Provincial People’s Congress passed a group of personnel appointments and removals. Among them, Wang Kai was appointed as the Deputy Governor and Acting Governor of the Henan Provincial Government, and Gu Xuefei was the Deputy Governor of the Henan Provincial Government and Henan Province. Director of the Public Security Department, Fei Dongbin is the Deputy Governor of Henan Provincial Government.

　　Wang Kai, born in 1962, is a native of Luoyang, Henan.

According to the official public resume, Wang Kai served as the head of the Investigation Division of the Case Trial Office of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, deputy secretary and mayor of the Wuzhou Municipal Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, deputy secretary and mayor of the Yulin Municipal Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, secretary of the Yulin Municipal Committee, Jilin Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Minister of the Organization Department, Member of the Standing Committee of the Jilin Provincial Party Committee, and Secretary of the Changchun Municipal Party Committee.

　　Gu Xuefei was transferred from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province to the chief prosecutor of the Henan Procuratorate in 2018.

In this appointment, he also served as the director of the Henan Provincial Public Security Department.

Since Shu Qing became the deputy mayor of the Shanghai Municipal Government and the director of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau at the end of December 2020, the post of the director of the Henan Provincial Public Security Bureau has been vacant for several months.

　　Fei Dongbin was transferred from the post of secretary of the Ulanqab Municipal Party Committee of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to a member of the Party Group of the Henan Provincial Government in March of this year.
