The fire had not been completely extinguished by the early morning of the 2nd, and more than 15 buildings had been burned. In the private house, 31 residents were arranged to seek refuge in a nearby community center.
According to reports, at about 4:55 pm on April 1st, a resident discovered smoke from a residential house in the Kaga area of Shimane Town, Matsue City. Since this dense residential area faces the Sea of Japan, strong winds helped the fire after the fire broke out. It burned, and even burned to nearby mountains and forests.
The fire department said that, including the villas on the mountain, more than 15 houses were burned.
A 47-year-old man inhaled heavy smoke at the fire scene and was sent to the hospital. Fortunately, there was no serious problem.
