With 17.3% of the Corsican population vaccinated against the coronavirus, the Isle of Beauty is a leading region in this area.

Conversely, Pays de la Loire, Center-Val de Loire and Île-de-France are all three below the national vaccination average, which stands at 12%.

With 17.3% of people vaccinated in Corsica, the Island of Beauty is the French champion of vaccination.

For comparison, the regional national average of the population that received serum is 12%.

In addition, there is very little loss of doses, since 95% of them are consumed each week.

Île-de-France below the national average

How then to explain the good results of the island in terms of vaccination, key to the end of the crisis according to Emmanuel Macron?

First of all, it is necessary to highlight the solidarity of local health actors, but also the coordination of local elected officials who very quickly made lists of people eligible for vaccination available.

Thanks to this device, Corsica is therefore ahead of Burgundy Franche-Comté and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, which stand on the podium with more than 14% of vaccinated in these two regions.

On the other hand, some regions are less successful students: Pays de la Loire, Center-Val de Loire and Île-de-France are thus below the national average.
