Leipzig (dpa) - The people in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia should dress warmer over Easter - the German Weather Service (DWD) is expecting snow showers in some regions.
In Saxony and Thuringia, meteorologists announce short snow showers for Easter Saturday, especially in the mountains and in the Thuringian Vogtland.
In addition, it should rain in Saxony.
In Thuringia, however, according to the DWD, it clears up during the day and the sun comes out.
Saxony-Anhalt remains free of precipitation, it said.
The daily highs in Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt are eight to eleven degrees.
For Saxony, the weather experts expect six to nine degrees.
Easter Sunday is characterized by few clouds and a lot of sun in Saxony, Thuringia and the south of Saxony-Anhalt.
In the north of Saxony-Anhalt, more and more dense clouds can appear in the sky - but it remains dry.
The maximum values in Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt are up to twelve degrees, in Saxony up to eleven degrees.
