"The US President is looking forward to meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga at the White House on Friday, April 16," C-SPAN quoted her as saying.
Psaki noted that this will be the first personal visit of a foreign leader to the United States during the Biden presidency.
Earlier, the White House reported details of the first telephone conversation between Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
