Berlin (dpa) - When checking the corona rules in Gleisdreieckpark in Berlin-Kreuzberg, police officers were insulted and slightly injured.

The emergency services asked several large groups of young people to leave the park on Thursday evening and accompanied around 50 to 70 young people and adolescents, some of them aggressive, towards the subway station, as the police announced on Friday.

Four police officers were sprayed with the contents of a fire extinguisher by a member of the group and suffered breathing difficulties and eye irritation.

According to the information, the suspect managed to escape undetected in the group.

The emergency services took the personal details of eleven 15 to 27-year-olds and confiscated a cell phone with which the crime was said to have been filmed.
