Neubrandenburg (dpa / mv) - An 82-year-old driver was seriously injured in a traffic accident near Neubrandenburg (Mecklenburg Lake District).
He came off the A20 lane with his car on Friday afternoon, the police said.
The car then skidded over both lanes and came to a stop in the opposite direction of travel.
The man was taken to the hospital.
The A20 was completely closed for around two hours due to the accident between the junctions Neubrandenburg Nord and Neubrandenburg Ost.
