Erfurt (dpa / th) - According to the Ministry of Health, around 281,500 people in Thuringia received at least one corona vaccination by Maundy Thursday.
This corresponds to a share of the population of 13.2 percent.
A total of around 123,000 people have full vaccination protection after the second vaccination, that is 5.7 percent of the population.
According to data from the Berlin Robert Koch Institute, Thuringia is in the top group of federal states when it comes to vaccination.
Nationwide, the rate of first vaccinations is 11.6 and second vaccinations 5 percent.
The vaccine most frequently used so far is that of the manufacturer Biontech / Pfizer, with which almost 177,000 people received their first and just under 114,000 second vaccinations.
With the vaccine from Astrazeneca, which is now only to be used for people over 60 years of age, around 84,700 people received an initial vaccination.
The corona immunization continues in the Free State over the Easter days.
