On March 31, at a press conference of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, some Taiwanese media asked that the two sides of the strait had their own views on the "common political foundation" recently. The mainland emphasized that the "92 Consensus" was the Dinghai Shenzheng. Make it clear that "one China" is "what China".

At the same time, internationally, the mainland emphasizes that "The People's Republic of China is the only legal government representing the whole of China." How does the mainland view the "Republic of China" now?

Zhu Fenglian, a spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, said that the "1992 Consensus" embodies the historical facts and legal basis of the same China on both sides of the strait, and is the greatest common divisor for improving and developing cross-strait relations.

The issue of political differences between the two sides of the strait should be resolved through cross-strait dialogue and consultation on the basis of the one-China principle.
