A glimmer of hope for the restaurant and cultural sector?
Closed since November, certain places, such as “restaurants, cafes” or even museums and cinemas, could reopen from mid-May, Emmanuel Macron announced on Wednesday evening during his speech.
"The efforts of April plus vaccination are the pincers to contain this virus," Emmanuel Macron explained during his speech.
From mid-May, we will be able to find places of meeting, culture, restaurants, cafes, ”declared the Head of State.
A reopening in several stages
In mid-May, restaurant terraces and places of culture should therefore come back to life.
Be careful though, all places closed since the fall will not reopen all at once.
For bars and dining rooms, it will be necessary to wait, at least, for the beginning of summer.
“We can tell ourselves that we could have done better, it's true.
We learned, we improved.
We must mobilize for our elders and our children, ”acknowledged Emmanuel Macron.
In March, industry professionals agreed with the Ministry of the Economy to reopen in three stages.
