Voters in regions where the re-by-election is held can vote in advance for two days starting tomorrow (2nd).

You can vote anywhere, regardless of your address, but you must bring your ID card with you.

Reporter Lee Hyun-young explains how to vote in advance.

is a pre-voting booth located on the 3rd floor of Seoul Station.

Advance voting is held tomorrow and the day after tomorrow from 6 am to 6 pm.

With your ID, you can vote in any of the 21 electoral districts and 722 polling places nationwide where re-election takes place.

How can you vote outside your own constituency?

This election, unlike usual, there are several steps you must go through before entering the polls.

First, you need to measure your body temperature.

If the body temperature is abnormal like this, you will receive a plastic glove after hand sanitization.

If you are wearing gloves, you must present your ID and verify your identity.

Now, it is covered with plastic for quarantine and disinfection.

Once you have verified your identity, you will receive a by-election ballot.

On this ballot for the Seoul Mayor's by-election, it is marked with resignation next to the name of Candidate Ahn Chul-soo of the National Assembly Party.

Once you have received the paper and envelope, you will be taken to the voting booth.

Put a stamp next to the name of the candidate you want, fold the paper, put it in an envelope, and put it in the ballot box, and the pre-voting is all complete.

Corona confirmed patients are subject to voting by mail in principle. Separately, the NEC plans to operate special pre-voting centers for one day in Seoul and one in Busan among the life treatment centers in which the confirmed patients are hospitalized.

In the case of self-quarantine, voting is possible after 8 pm on the 7th, the main voting day.
