Vaccinations are in full swing and currently about 62,600 people in the county have received their first dose.
- It is gratifying that the vaccinations are progressing so well and that we can now offer the next large group the long-awaited vaccine, says Kaisa Karro (S), chairman of the regional board in the Östergötland Region, in a statement.
The region's work with vaccinations still focuses on the older age groups and all residents over the age of 75 have now been given the opportunity to book an appointment.
In special homes and in patients in home care, only a few people remain to be vaccinated.
- The availability of times can vary and if you do not find a time, you can try again the next day. The large vaccination centers have a larger capacity than the health centers, so you can book your time there with advantage, says Rickard Lundin, health care manager at Region Östergötland.
