An investigation in progress will have to clarify the circumstances of this fatal accident.
On Wednesday afternoon, a 13-year-old boy riding a motorcycle was killed in a collision with a truck in Brindas, near Lyon (Rhône).
According to
Le Progrès,
the frontal impact took place on the Joanna road, where the boy was traveling on a small engine.
Firefighters from the Vaugneray and Brindas barracks were dispatched to the scene to help him.
But when they arrived, the teenager, originally from Francheville, had already died.
The investigation was entrusted to the motorized brigade of Dardilly.
