Offenbach / Rheinau (dpa) - Heat record for the month of March: In Rheinau in Baden, over 27 degrees were measured on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the German Weather Service (DWD), March 31, 2021 is now the warmest March day since regular weather records began in 1881, as it was called that evening in Offenbach.
"In Rheinau-Memprechtshofen in the Upper Rhine Graben, the old German record of 26.6 degrees Celsius from March 28, 1989 in Baden-Baden was exceeded at 5 p.m. with 27.2 degrees Celsius," tweeted the DWD.
