China News Service, Fuzhou, March 31 (Peng Lifang, Zheng Jiangluo) As the "World Autism Awareness Day" approached, Zou Xian announced a public welfare activity initiated by him to care for the "children of the stars" in the WeChat Moments.

To convey love and warmth to the "children of the stars", Zou Xian's act of charity has persisted for 6 years.

"After my father is gone, I always try my best to do public welfare and do more things within my capacity." Zou Xian, the second generation of Taiwanese businessman who is the chairman of Binlian Automobile Group, has worked hard in Fuzhou for 16 years. In his opinion , Fujian is not only a hot place to start a business, but also the homeland of relay father to do charity.

After the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, Zou Xian's father Zou Wenyi donated 400,000 yuan (RMB, the same below) to the earthquake area.

His father's actions to overcome the difficulties have always been engraved in Zou Xian's memory, and the seeds of love have since been planted in Zou Xian's heart.

"My father decided to return to Fujian for development back then because his ancestral home was Fujian." Zou Xian said, now that he has the ability, he must do his best to give back to the local area.

For many years, Zou Xian has often organized company employees to go to nursing homes and orphanages to do charity work. He always actively participates and does things personally.

When the new crown pneumonia outbreak broke out last year, Zou Xian, who was busy returning to work, tried every means to raise 500,000 yuan worth of protective materials for front-line medical staff.

In Zou Xian's view, "the two sides of the strait are one family," and there is no outsider in this "epidemic".

In 1992, Zou Wenyi came to Fuzhou to invest and build a factory, creating a world in Fuzhou where there is "almost no automobile maintenance industry".

In 2005, Zou Xian came to Fuzhou to help his father take care of business.

From car maintenance to car sales, the father and son worked together to expand the business scope of Binlian Automobile Group step by step.

After Zou Wenyi passed away in 2017, Zou Xian officially took over and now operates 5 auto repair shops in Fuzhou and Quanzhou.

In addition to making his father's half-life career bigger and stronger, Zou Xian never forgets one thing his father told him, "helping more Taiwanese folks come to the mainland to take a look."

In order to create opportunities for more Taiwanese youth to understand and experience the development of the mainland on the spot, Binlian Automobile Group has implemented a summer internship program in 2017, recruiting Taiwanese youths for free internships in Fuzhou.

Zou Xian told reporters that the Fuzhou automobile market is no longer as "immature" as he was back then. Nowadays, both urban construction and business environment have made great progress.

"Many Taiwanese youths were surprised when they came to Fuzhou." They did not expect such a good development environment.

Last year, the summer internship program was suspended due to the epidemic.

However, Zou Xian said that in the future, it will definitely restart and continue, so that more Taiwanese youth will embark on the "landing" journey.

Zou Xian is now preparing to build a cross-strait automobile entrepreneurship base, hoping to introduce Taiwanese youth to Fujian to engage in automobile creative work.

Zou Xian revealed that in order to implement this idea, he has been preparing for more than three years; when the epidemic is over, the exchange of automobile talents between the two sides of the strait can start.

"Not only should the Taiwan compatriots who come here have good development opportunities, but also let them understand the mainland and embrace the mainland." Zou Xian said, although the choice of coming to the mainland is personal, "but this opportunity and window, I want Open." (End)
