Cologne (dpa) - After the former Reemtsma kidnapper Thomas Drach, the Dutch police arrested another suspect for three money transporter robberies in Cologne and Frankfurt / Main.

South of Amsterdam, a European arrest warrant issued by the Cologne District Court was executed on Monday, the Cologne police announced on Wednesday.

The accused is a 52-year-old Dutchman.

He did not resist the arrest in his apartment.

According to the conviction of the public prosecutor and the police, the 52-year-old is said to have been directly involved in the attack at Cologne / Bonn Airport on March 6, 2019 and to have assisted in the attack on money messengers in Frankfurt on November 9, 2019.

The Dutch judiciary will decide on the continuation of detention on the basis of the allegations made, the Cologne police said.

It depends on whether the 52-year-old can be extradited to Germany.
