Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - Two men were sentenced on Wednesday by the Frankfurt Regional Court to two years suspended prison sentence for receiving stolen goods after serial thefts on construction sites in the Rhine-Main area.
The two men, aged 42 and 65, had already offered high-quality construction machinery - concrete mixers, vibrators, drills and concrete agitators - to Eastern European buyers in at least six cases in 2017.
For this they received commission payments from backers (Ref .: 3556 Js 229173/17).
Both defendants made extensive confessions in court.
The long history of the offense and the lack of previous convictions were credited to them as mitigating factors.
In addition, the 65-year-old's health is severely impaired.
The judgment is final.
The public prosecutor's office had also requested a suspended sentence.
