The former second vice president of the Government and already a full performance candidate of United We Can to the presidency of the Community of Madrid, Pablo Iglesias, has been sure that if the majority of the Madrid population goes to vote there will finally be a left-wing government in community.

He considers that after spending just over a year in the Government of Spain he has done "important things" but believes that now his most useful role is that of a candidate to get rid of the "indecency of the right".

"The extreme right that claims the dictatorship and apologizes for State terrorism cannot be normalized," he assured and consequently he has opted to establish a "sanitary cordon" around it.

"Everyone knows that there is a party and that the right is no longer so clear," he said in an interview on the Ser chain, assuming that his candidacy has been a decisive shock.

Iglesias has affirmed that he will reserve his disqualifications and attacks on the formations of the right and has insisted that "no one will hear" from him "a single bad word for the rest of the candidates on the left, for the progressive comrades", because the confrontation and the division "generates boredom" in the citizenship and provokes "demobilization".

"We are going to win and there is going to be a coalition government," he assured.

"We went out to win and I will be president," he stressed, but if in the end he does not succeed, he will be "where the comrades decide" without ruling out occupying the position that corresponds to him in the opposition.

The United Podemos candidate has also pointed to Vox and Díaz Ayuso as the hands that push and send "mobsters", "ultra-rightists" and "neo-Nazis" to harass him.

He has also admitted that from now on the leadership at United Podemos will be "more choral" and "less personalistic" despite the fact that he will remain as secretary general of Podemos while Yolanda Díaz, in his opinion, will be the future president of the Government. from Spain.

Regarding his stage within the Government, he considers that it has been of "unity" and that the Executive will remain until 2023. In addition, he assumes that the rental law "will go ahead" because "it cannot be that the majority partner of the Government break his word. "

"I do not conceive the possibility that the PSOE approves a law that encourages large landowners by signing it with the PP."

"For me there have been matters that are very difficult to swallow but I had to admit it because they were not signed in the government pact, but what is signed we are going to demand," he insisted.

Iglesias has assured that he will maintain a close relationship with the President of the Government, but has stressed that within the Executive there are very powerful leaderships, referring to Yolanda Díaz, Irene Montero and Ione Belarra, who will firmly ensure that the commitments are fulfilled.

In relation to the opaque contracts of Podemos with Neurona, the candidate has been in favor of investigating until the end but has assured: "We cannot allow ourselves to get even half a bad account. When the file of the case arrives, it will pass about it a ball of the desert as it always happens ", has pointed out using a victimizing tone.

Iglesias has accused the Community of Madrid of maintaining a "hooligan" attitude towards the laws and skipping the Constitution in a kind of "trumpist attitude typical of the extreme right."

The candidate has affirmed that the PP has given zero euros to the Madrid hospitality industry while the Government, thanks to his efforts, has unlocked up to 7,000.

He has also reproached him for betting on privatization and on a hospitable model, with the Zendal at the forefront, which has "more to do with propaganda than with efficiency" and "decency", although he has not dared to answer the question. of if it will close it in case of winning the elections.

Iglesias has referred to his prediction that Isabel Díaz Ayuso will end up in jail because, in his opinion, all the members of the PP who are investigated end up in prison.

"I have no doubts that when it is investigated there will be more members of the PP, a rotten body, who will end up in jail," he said.

Finally, the candidate has charged "against the aggressiveness and harassment" that he claims to have suffered from some media and that have made him and his family go through "a very hard year."
