Elmstein (dpa / lrs) - Two men were seriously injured in the collision of two motorcycles on a country road in the Bad Dürkheim district on Tuesday.
A 48-year-old was on his two-wheeler in the direction of Elmstein and wanted to overtake a mobile home before a curve, as the police announced on Wednesday.
Here he probably overlooked a 49-year-old motorcyclist who was coming towards him.
After the collision on Tuesday afternoon, both drivers crashed into a stone wall and were seriously injured.
Rescue helicopters flew the men to hospitals.
The road was closed for several hours during the recording of the accident.
