From the big screen at auction: in the selection of Aste Bolaffi watches, at auction on 11 April in Milan, Nino Manfredi's Rolex also appears.
The actor never separated from it, not even on the set as evidenced by the film "Per Grazia Ricevuta", which earned him the award for best first film at the 1971 Cannes Film Festival.
The starting price is 10,000 euros, the Rolex is accompanied by the authentication of Luca Manfredi and by a copy signed by him of the book "Un friccico ner core - The 100 faces of my father Nino" published by Rai Libri (lot 210 ).
The Rolex Oyster Perpetual by Nino Manfredi is equipped with an exclusive black dial with golden writing and unmistakable "3-6-9" indexes, a highly sought after variant, it was purchased by the actor to celebrate the birth of his second son Luca in 1958 and has been worn since that day always "as if it were a good luck charm, except for swimming in the sea", says the son who will use the proceeds of the sale in a series of initiatives in memory of his father in the year of the centenary of his birth.
