Hanover (dpa / lni) - The Lower Saxony Memorials Foundation and the World Jewish Congress have developed a prevention concept and guidelines for action to intensify action against anti-Semitism in football.
Both will be handed over to Justice Minister Barbara Havliza (CDU) and the state commissioner against anti-Semitism and for the protection of Jewish life, Franz Rainer Enste, on Wednesday (10.30 a.m.).
What can be done against anti-Semitic abuse in the fan corner or anti-Jewish jokes at the bar in the clubhouse should be explained in a brochure.
The recommendations are a result of the “Who against whom?
Violence, marginalization and the "Jew" stereotype in football »at the Bergen-Belsen Memorial in cooperation with the World Jewish Congress
The project was carried out as part of the federal program “Live Democracy!”
and sponsored by the World Jewish Congress.
