This was stated by the head of the channel's department, Osama Rabia, on the air of the Al Arabiya TV channel.
"The ship will remain here until the end of the investigation," TASS quoted him as saying.
An official investigation into all the circumstances of the incident began on Wednesday, March 31st.
The investigation will, in particular, find out whether the captain of Ever Given followed the instructions of the canal authority before the ship ran aground.
Earlier it was reported that the container ship Ever Given was removed from the aground in the Suez Canal.
