Hamburg (dpa) - Top striker Simon Terodde has returned to the training of the second division soccer team Hamburger SV after his corona quarantine.

"I'm glad that I can kick the ball again," said the 33-year-old on Wednesday in a media round after training.

In the game on Easter Sunday (1.30 p.m. / Sky) at Hannover 96, the 20-time goal scorer of the season wants to be back in the squad for second place in the table.

"You will then see for how many minutes it will last."

Terodde, who tested positive in mid-March, said he had a mild course of the disease with mild cold symptoms.

"My body resisted it well and my strong immune system helped," said the attacker, who was happy that the other players stayed healthy.

The goalgetter only missed the 2-0 home win over 1. FC Heidenheim: "The boys did well."

In the quarantine, he "pulled in a lot of documentaries and made the tax return," said Terodde.

Regarding an alleged transfer interest of the relegation-threatened Bundesliga club FC Schalke 04, the 33-year-old said: "A lot is being written."

He is now looking forward to a “hot April” with HSV.
