Wachenroth (dpa / lby) - The fire in a sawmill in Wachenroth (Erlangen-Höchstadt district) caused damage of at least 150,000 euros on Tuesday evening.
According to the police, the owner of the sawmill alerted the fire brigade at around 9 p.m. after a diesel engine caught fire and sawdust had caught the flames.
Within a short time, the sawmill was reportedly in full fire.
It was possible to prevent the fire from spreading to the adjacent residential building, and nobody was injured.
The fire was extinguished at around 10.30 p.m.
