Bielefeld (dpa / lnw) - Burglars stole grills, charcoal, lighters and chairs in Bielefeld and immediately used them for a small barbecue party.
They got their prey by breaking into a hut on a sports field, the police announced on Wednesday.
The whole thing happened between Monday evening and Tuesday morning.
First, according to the information, the perpetrators broke into the hut in which the barbecue utensils were stored.
They then used it to set up a barbecue area a few meters away.
"What remained was some unprepared food, filled cups and grilled sausages," stated the police, who are now looking for the perpetrators.
To get in, the strangers had apparently placed a chair against a fence.
It was initially unclear whether the food had also been stolen.
In any case, they didn't come from the hut.
