Munich (dpa / lby) - The provisional vaccination ban at Astrazeneca for under 60-year-olds is making waves with the Bavarian police.

“Sure, that creates great uncertainty.

In the next few days in particular, large vaccinations were scheduled, ”said the state chairman of the German police union, Jürgen Köhnlein, on Wednesday upon request.

Without the new regulations on Astrazeneca, all officials willing to vaccinate should have received their first injection by mid-April.

How it will continue with the vaccinations of the police forces, initially remained open.

Köhnlein reported on the very broad initial reactions of his colleagues: "From absolute voluntariness to a second vaccination, even with the latest knowledge, to reluctance, everything is included."

The day before, the vaccinations with the Astrazeneca preparation for under 60-year-olds were temporarily suspended.
