Dortmund (dpa / lnw) - A 15-year-old youth from North Rhine-Westphalia has to answer from April 29, among other things, for attempted incitement to murder before the Dortmund district court.

A spokesman for the court said on Wednesday.

The student is accused of having asked an acquaintance in a WhatsApp short message to either murder Jews in a synagogue or Muslims in a mosque.

There should have been no concrete attack plans.

The Public Prosecutor's Office in Düsseldorf filed charges in November 2020.

This has now been approved by the Dortmund Regional Court, as the court spokesman explained.

The trial before the juvenile criminal chamber will take place completely in camera because of the age of the accused.

The 15-year-old is currently not in custody, but lives in a closed, supervised youth group.
