Bonn (dpa) - An alleged fortune teller is said to have cheated at least three people in the Rhineland by a total of more than 100,000 euros.
Among other things, she is said to have persuaded a 40-year-old woman that she was cursed and that someone wanted her evil.
To avert this, the "fortune-teller" asked for money.
In another case, the victim was an 84 year old man from Cologne.
He therefore paid 2500 euros.
The Bonn police had become aware of the suspected fraudster through connections to a case in the Oberbergischer Kreis.
On Tuesday, the investigators observed her at another money delivery appointment on Bonn's Friedensplatz and arrested her.
