Only the district of Uckermark, with its seven-day incidence of 65.6, is below the 100 mark.

In Potsdam, where the shops with an appointment and negative test have been open since Saturday, but the values ​​are above 100 for the third day in a row, the emergency brake must now be pulled.

During the day, the order will be issued that the openings will be withdrawn, said a city spokeswoman.

On Tuesday the incidence in the state capital was 105.5, on Monday it was 117.

The so-called emergency brake from the state's Corona regulation has so far been effective in twelve districts and the cities of Cottbus and Frankfurt (Oder).

The Elbe-Elster district remains the corona hotspot with a seven-day incidence of 256.3 - but with a downward trend.

Nationwide, the health authorities counted 317 new corona cases.

There were 12 deaths on Tuesday.

A week ago there were 201 new infections and 11 new deaths.
