Specifically, in order to utilize the know-how related to reconstruction for disaster response, etc., a "Reconstruction Knowledge Group" will be newly established, and a deputy director who will also be in charge of disaster prevention of the Cabinet Office will be appointed.



In addition, a new "Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Group" will be established to support agriculture and fisheries in Fukushima Prefecture, where the effects of the accident at TEPCO's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station remain.



On the other hand, due to the progress of infrastructure development to a certain extent, the number of Reconstruction Agency staff including the "Reconstruction Bureau" in Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima will be about 420 from next month, and about 70 from January.
