Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The wage conflict in the metal and electrical industry has also been settled in the southwest.

Employers and the union agreed on Tuesday evening to take over essential parts of the pilot degree from North Rhine-Westphalia.

In addition, there should be special regulations for the industry in Baden-Württemberg, as both sides announced.

Details are to be announced on Wednesday morning.

The metal and electrical industry employs almost a million people in the southwest.

Nationwide there are around 3.8 million.

In North Rhine-Westphalia, employers and IG Metall agreed on additional options for a reduction in working hours with partial wage compensation on Tuesday night.

The pilot agreement also provides for automatic relief for companies in economic difficulties.

This year the employees will receive a corona bonus of 500 euros.
