Investigative Committee opened two new cases on the fact of state of emergency in Zelenodolsk

It is noted that the investigators continue to investigate the criminal case under Part 1 of Art.

109 of the Criminal Code of Russia (causing death by negligence).

“In addition, two more criminal cases were initiated on the grounds of crimes under Part 1 of Art.

118 of the Criminal Code of Russia (causing grievous bodily harm by negligence) and Part 1 of Art.

293 of the Criminal Code of Russia ("Negligence"), "the Investigative Committee said, specifying that the criminal cases were combined into one proceeding.

According to preliminary data from the investigation, on the day of the incident, the owner of the apartment, where the gas was hit, was taken to a neuropsychiatric dispensary "with complaints that he abuses alcohol, behaves inappropriately, and threatens to destroy the apartment."

At the same time, the staff of the dispensary refused to admit him.

Investigators have appointed a number of expert examinations, victims and witnesses are being questioned.

Earlier, the number of victims of the collapse of apartments in a house in Zelenodolsk increased to two.
