International donors provide € 5.3 billion in aid to Syria

“The total amount is € 5.3 billion in grants or $ 6.4 billion. In addition, international financial institutions and donors have announced loans on concessional terms in the amount of € 5.9 billion or $ 7 billion,” he said.

It is clarified that the money will go to provide assistance to Syrian refugees in 2021-2022.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry assessed the EU's refusal to invite the Syrian authorities to an international donor conference.
