Hamburg (dpa / lno) - Several supporters of the Extinction Rebellion climate protection movement chained themselves to the Hamburg Köhlbrand Bridge again on Tuesday, thus obstructing traffic.
A police spokesman said the activists chained themselves to the central guardrail as part of an unannounced demonstration at the foot of the bridge.
The traffic was therefore initially blocked to the west, to the east it was led past the activists in a single lane.
"At the moment we have a bit of local traffic disruption."
Extinction Rebellion claims that the action wanted to get politicians to act on the climate crisis.
Just two weeks ago, several trailers had chained themselves on both sides of the Köhlbrand Bridge and thus hindered traffic for several hours.
The striking structure is an important traffic artery in the port of Hamburg.
